Honey
Honey is a 7 month-old healthy female Australian Shepherd. She is brown and white with striking golden eyes. She is house-trained and trained to stay, sit, and come. She also knows out, off, and leave it. When walking, she knows to sit at your feet as traffic approaches. She walks well with a Halti collar. Honey is up-to-date on all shots and has been spayed. She loves to run and play fetch with her toys. She has the makings of a loving and very loyal dog. We recommend that she be supervised when around young children because of her tendency to herd. Honey is in need of a loving family with room to run.

Wink
Wink is a 7 mo. old Aussie & something large (possibly Landseer). He is going to be a very big boy. He’s neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. He’s big and cuddly. Wink is housebroke and sleeps on my bedroom floor. Like many puppies his age he is still a little mouthy and would probably not be good with small children. His northern side makes him a little independent and he should have a fenced in yard. He enjoys wrestling with the other dogs and is crated during the day but believes he was born free.

Angel ARPH #7645
Angel is a 2 year old blue merle female. She is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. Angel is a very small and will weigh about 35lbs. She is very sweet and quiet. Angel came from a house with six kids and has no interest in cats. She gets along with all my dogs male or female. Angel is ball crazy especially soccer balls.

Roxie ARPH #7640
Roxie is a happy, active blue merle puppy. Born on August 10, 2004, she is still quite a puppy! She loves to play and run and pounce on other dogs. She is so busy and happy that she doesn't seem to notice that she can't hear or that her eyesight isn't very good. She is sweet and cuddly (once she's a little tired) and loves to be in your lap or right beside you on the couch or the floor if you insist. She has memorized my house and yard and gets around like she has perfect vision. At 12 weeks she is doing well on housebreaking if you make sure she has frequent opportunities to go outside. She is crate trained, but she would much rather be with her person in almost any situation. She follows me or her dog friends around like a shadow. Like most Aussies she is very easy to train, very focused and eager to learn all sorts of things. She is very well socialized and loves all people. She knows sit and down really well when there is a treat involved. We are working on touch markers for her commands. She is also learning scent markers for finding the doors and her toys. Roxie will need a securely fenced yard and an owner committed to her ongoing training and socialization. She will be spayed and have completed two sets of puppy shots by mid-November.

Sox ARPH #7638
Sox is a black tri neutered 9 month old male. Sox is up to date on shots and microchipped. He is housebroken and quiet in his crate. He has a very adventurous personality. Nothing phases him. Open stairs, top of the picnic table and his favorite toys are my socks. Sox is not barky or nippy and would make a great performance dog or family pet. He's cuddly and feels right at home nestled in on the couch or rolling on my bed. Loves to be groomed including his nails. He's a very atractive and sweet puppy.

Millie
Millie is a 3 year old white aussie spayed female with a full tail. Millie is deaf and is trained to hand signals and is very handler focused. She is gentle and happy and enjoys swimming, tennis balls, frisbies and car rides. Millie is very affectionate and always smiling. She is good with other dogs, people and kids. Millie has never seen cat. Millie has lots of energy like most aussies her age.

Millie will need a securely fenced yard and someone that will keep her safe from the things she can’t hear.

Ruby Tuesday
Ruby Tuesday is a 2 yr old spayed blue merle female. Ruby is up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on preventative. She is active, playful and loves toys. Ruby loves to run and play and will need a fenced in yard. She is crate trained, good on a leash and loves to ride in a car. Ruby is soft and submissive to people and dogs and would need a gentle K-9 companion. Her adoption fee includes a crate, toys and heartworm preventive.

Mason
Mason's story is a sad one with a happy ending. He was rescued from an Amish farm. He was so severly matted that he could barely walk - there were many many matts that had pulled out from his skin and were just hanging all over his body in chunks. He was never allowed in the house and he was never given any dog food, shots, or HW meds. He was fed whatever table scraps were left and it was just put on the ground outside for him to eat. The children used to hit on him. He was very wary of humans when he was taken in. A groomer in the area donated her services and shaved and bathed him. Luckily he was heartworm negative. He turned out to be a very loving and special dog who followed his foster mom everywhere on the farm. Now in his new home he gets to go for rides in the car, sleeps on the bed with his masters, and gets played with a lot. He is one loved dog in his forever home.

Rex
Rex is a bright, energetic two and a half year old Aussie. He comes and sits without any problem, and he wants to stay near when outside. He is house broken and kennel trained and loves to "kennel up." He gets along well with puppies and adult dogs who are not overly dominant, but he gets scared if he is bullied. He is hesitant with strangers but warms up and then is fine. Loves to ride. He is currently living with five other dogs and an older male dog is bullying him terribly. Rex does not fight but gets nervous and picks at his food when upset. Rex needs a home where he is the only dog or he is with other dogs who are laid back and not dominant. He does well with the female dogs in his current home. Probably best with older kids rather than young ones.

Marble ARPH #7412
Marble is a wonderful 18 month old spayed female who is up on all medical as well as crate trained and almost completely housebroken. While she can be slightly timid about some things, she is a real snuggle bug once she knows you. She can also scale a cyclone fence faster than any dog we've seen if you leave her in the fence and you're outside of it. She doesn't run away, she climbs it to be close to you. She is wonderful with other dogs and almost every person she meets.

Chester ARPH #7409
Chester is a gentle, neutered black tri male, born in October 2001. He has all medical updated, is housebroken and crate trained, is good with other dogs, good with cats, doesn't jump fences, and is quiet in his crate. He loves rides in the car and takes treats like a dream. He also likes to play with balls and knows sit, down and come and we're learning other things he knows as well! Chester is available to a home with children over 12 years old and needs an owner who wants to have fun with their dog but also not let him become the boss. He has lots of love to give to a family who wants a dog!

Apachie ARPH #7639
Apachie is a 3 year old neutered male with a full tail. He is up to date on shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. Apachie is calm, easy going and quiet. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. He enjoys wrestling with the other foster dogs or supervising my yard work. He was surrendered from a bad situation and just wants a safe loving pet home.

Shadow ARPH #6819
Shadow is a lovely and gentle neutered male. Appropriately named because that’s where he wants to be, in your shadow. He is between 5 and 7 years old and is up to date on shots. He is good with kids but wants to chase cats. He was picked up by Animal Control as a stray. He was 20 pounds under weight and loaded with parasites. At the pound his sad eyes said "I deserve better than this." I took him home and got him to the vet. He’s heartworm negative and has gained almost all of his weight back. As the pounds came back so did his vitality. He’s back to romping in the yard with the other dogs and has even started playing with toys. He’s looking for a gentle person to snuggle with on the couch and the foot of the bed. For more information contact Glenna.

Cappy ARPH #7636
Cappy - short for Cappuccino - is a 7 and a half year old neutered male. He’s good with kids and cats and other dogs. He’s up to date on shots, crate trained and house broke. He is very cute and playful. He likes to scamper around the yard for a couple of minutes followed by an extended period of quiet observation from a down position. Cappy loves to snuggle on the couch and curls up like a pill bug on my bed. He’s a very easy dog to have around the house.

Sully
Sully is a 15 month old blue merle male with a full tail. He is about 20" tall and weighs about 55 pounds. Sully is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all of his shots. He is housebroken and crate trained.

Sully knows sit, stay, shake and likes to play fetch and catch the frisbee. Sully needs a home that will give him daily exercise and keep him busy.

Sully has been with his family since he was a puppy. He has been unable to adjust to the younger visitors to his home. He will chase after small, running children and nip at them. Therefore, he is looking for a home where family members are 13 and older and don't have small children visit frequently.

Emmitt ARPH #7414
Emmitt is almost a year and a half old, not good for young children, a bit aloof and somewhat pushy. That said, he loves toys, is learning to be nice with the indoor cats, and not to pester horses. He's smart as a whip, is neutered and housebroken and is learning to tolerate a crate. He would make someone a good pet or even a good second pet with another dog to play with. He's also learning to enjoy life outside of a kennel situation and loves climbing up on the couch.

Courtney
Courtney is a 9 year old spayed female, up to date on shots. She is a very active Aussie and would prefer an household where family members enjoy jogging or long walks, perhaps training in agility, herding and/or obedience. She also enjoys doing 5-K walk/runs. Courtney already has her AKC and ASCA CD and a herding title. She also has her AKC novice agility title. She loves to retrieve and is trained for all of the open exercises and most of the utlity exercises.

She loves kids and gets along with other dogs. Not sure about cats. She wants to be someone's special dog.

Angus
Angus is an steel blue merle with little white and very little copper. He is about 20" tall and weighs about 55 pounds. We estimate him to be five or six years old.

He was found running stray near the bike path and no one has come to claim him. He was quite matted when he was found and was shaved. So please forgive him if he looks a little rough around the edges. He will have a beautiful, full coat when it grows back in.

Angus is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all of his shots. He is housebroken and a very well-mannered fellow. He is living with two other dogs and several cats.

Whitney
Whitney is a 6 year old spayed female, up to date on shots. She would like to enjoy the finer things in life -- couches, soft dog beds, people beds, long brushing sessions, hand fed doggy bon-bons. She'd like nothing better than to live like a true princess as the only household dog. She has no work ethic what-so-ever. She has her canine good citizen "title" and that's about as much as she'd like to do, thank you. Whitney would like to be someone's beloved pet and would prefer short walks to go potty. Napping and being adored are her favorite activitie

I'm a sweet, 10 month old puppy who lost my home (not much of one on a chain attached to the garage) because I chewed on the garage. Now these nice folks have taken me in, gotten me "tutored" and all my vet work done. They are now trying to explain to me why I'm NOT supposed to lift my leg on the flower planters and furniture and that I'm to be nice to kitties and not so rude (but they make such cool faces at me!)

I'm quiet, I love to play with my ball and I really just want to snuggle with a family of my own who will let me live in the house with them. I'll try real hard to figure out this "potty" thing, I'm smart but this is still kind of new to me.

Megan ARPH # 7410
Megan is a 16 month old black tri female with lots of running copper or maybe even brindle. Very agile, very smart, needs an experienced home to deal with her drive and energy. Spayed, being housebroken, up on all medical and heartworm negative. This dog can do it all, agility, flyball, frisbee, obedience, and herding to boot.

Lucy ARPH #6818
Lucy is a 3-1/2 year old black bi female mini. She is spayed and up to date on medical. Lucy is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to play with balls and is good with cats and other dogs. She loves to swim and ride in the car. Lucy is very affectionate but reserved with strangers. Lucy is good with kids but becomes too protective of them.

Bingo ARPH #3630
Bingo is a 4 yr old neutered black bi male with lots of ticking. He’s heartworm negative and up to date on shots. He is fairly short coated is not a big shedder. Bingo is settled and easy going in the house but believes the world will be better when all squirrels are extinct. He is 22” at the shoulder and weighs 55lbs. His personality is quirky but cute. His hobbies are catching soccer balls, hiking and swimming. He loves quiet time in his crate when I’m at work and sleeps on my bed at night.

I adopted Bingo at 14 months of age after he was rescued from an abusive situation. He was reserved and shut down but as his confidence began to build so did the friction between Bingo and my older alpha male. Most days it’s like living with Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. I love him and want him to have a life free of this constant macho competition. Bingo will be happy as an only dog or the only male dog. Bingo loves cuddling and bathing cats and wants to be the leader of an all cat pack.

Chopper
Chopper is a three year old blue merle male. He is a big boy at approximately 80 pounds. He is house broken, crate trained, neutered and up to date on all of his medicals. He has been exposed to cats and horses. He currently lives with another smaller dog and they get along fine.

He does have a strong guardian instinct as is called for in the breed standard. He will bark at strangers but he is very affectionate and loyal with his family members. Chopper does not like small children and his family is expecting a new baby soon. He is fine with older, respectful kids over twelve.

Sara Sue
Sara Sue was found as a stray and has is being fostered through a local Humane Society. Sara goes to work with her foster mom at her store in Saugatuck, MI and she enjoys meeting the people that come into the store. She is also said to be good with cats.

Sara was probably an outside dog before she was found as her coat is very sun bleached. Underneath she is a rich liver red merle. She will be beautiful when her new coat comes in.

Sara is house broken, spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on her shots. She is a very laid back girl who doesn't demand much. She loves to be petted.

She would do best as an only dog or with other dogs that don't want to play with her very much. She will tell other dogs when she has had enough and as long as they are respectful of her, they should be fine.

We aren't sure of Sara's age other than she is an older female. Aussies can live into their teens and Sara still has lots of love left to give her new family.

Tabby
Tabby is a red tri female with classic markings, is now just a year old, spayed, friendly, good with kids and people and gets along with other dogs, cats and horses. Rode well in the car, does well on leash, was a dream to groom.

Bernie
Bernie is a red tri male with wider tri markings, is also just a year old, neutered, a real snuggle bug in the house, not quite into playing yet, good with other dogs, cats, and horses, he's just a little more hesitant than his sister. Tolerated being groomed and bathed for hours, fell asleep while I was final combing him.

Alex
Alex is a blue merle male Australian Shepherd in search of a home. He around 1 year of age, will be neutered soon and gets along well with other neutered males and spayed females. He is learning how to play with balls, loves to chew his rawhide and is housebroken.

Tigger
Tigger is a very active one year old red merle male. He weighs about 30 pounds and is up to date on all of his vet care. Please forgive his bad hair day, whoever had him previously shaved his head. He is getting along with other dogs at his foster home. He chases the cats but doesn't seem to want to hurt them.

Dominic ARPH #6630
Dominic is a one year old neutered male. He's a big boy, 56 lbs, HW negative and up to date on his vaccinations! He's good with people, a little energetic on-leash (not leash trained), housebroken, and squats rather than lifting his leg. He is fine with the foster mom's cats so far and is very respectful of her horses. He loves his toys, and is learning about leash training. Dominic is a big happy puppy and will need some guidance to reach his full potential. While he's good with kids, he's probably "too much" for the little ones.

Moosey is a very loving, good natured 19 month old red-bi neutered male. He is up to date on shots and heartworm negative. He was raised with kids and cats. Moosey should fill out to 55-60 lbs. He’s energetic and would like a good sized fenced in yard to run. He’s had some basic training and is very eager to learn more.

Riley is a 1 year old, happy dog, used to playing with a female golden retriever, knows basic commands, is housebroken, neutered and crate trained (although he prefers to be with you all the time). Congratulations to Emmitt and his new family!!

		Courtney Courtney is a 9 year old spayed female, up to date on shots. She is a very active Aussie and would prefer an household where family members enjoy jogging or long walks, perhaps training in agility, herding and/or obedience. She also enjoys doing 5-K walk/runs. Courtney already has her AKC and ASCA CD and a herding title. She also has her AKC novice agility title. She loves to retrieve and is trained for all of the open exercises and most of the utlity exercises. She loves kids and gets along with other dogs. Not sure about cats. She wants to be someone's special dog. Congratulations to Courtney and her new family!



		Angus Angus is an steel blue merle with little white and very little copper. He is about 20" tall and weighs about 55 pounds. We estimate him to be five or six years old. He was found running stray near the bike path and no one has come to claim him. He was quite matted when he was found and was shaved. So please forgive him if he looks a little rough around the edges. He will have a beautiful, full coat when it grows back in. Angus is neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all of his shots. He is housebroken and a very well-mannered fellow. He is living with two other dogs and several cats. Congratulations to Angus and his new family!!
		Whitney Whitney is a 6 year old spayed female, up to date on shots. She would like to enjoy the finer things in life -- couches, soft dog beds, people beds, long brushing sessions, hand fed doggy bon-bons. She'd like nothing better than to live like a true princess as the only household dog. She has no work ethic what-so-ever. She has her canine good citizen "title" and that's about as much as she'd like to do, thank you. Whitney would like to be someone's beloved pet and would prefer short walks to go potty. Napping and being adored are her favorite activitie Congratulations to Whitney and her new family!!



		Denver ARPH #7411 I'm a sweet, 10 month old puppy who lost my home (not much of one on a chain attached to the garage) because I chewed on the garage. Now these nice folks have taken me in, gotten me "tutored" and all my vet work done. They are now trying to explain to me why I'm NOT supposed to lift my leg on the flower planters and furniture and that I'm to be nice to kitties and not so rude (but they make such cool faces at me!) I'm quiet, I love to play with my ball and I really just want to snuggle with a family of my own who will let me live in the house with them. I'll try real hard to figure out this "potty" thing, I'm smart but this is still kind of new to me. Congratulations to Denver and his new family!!

		Megan ARPH # 7410 Megan is a 16 month old black tri female with lots of running copper or maybe even brindle. Very agile, very smart, needs an experienced home to deal with her drive and energy. Spayed, being housebroken, up on all medical and heartworm negative. This dog can do it all, agility, flyball, frisbee, obedience, and herding to boot. Congratulations to Megan and her new family!!

		Lucy ARPH #6818 Lucy is a 3-1/2 year old black bi female mini. She is spayed and up to date on medical. Lucy is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to play with balls and is good with cats and other dogs. She loves to swim and ride in the car. Lucy is very affectionate but reserved with strangers. Lucy is good with kids but becomes too protective of them. Congratulations to Lucy and her new family!!
		Bingo ARPH #3630 Bingo is a 4 yr old neutered black bi male with lots of ticking. He’s heartworm negative and up to date on shots. He is fairly short coated is not a big shedder. Bingo is settled and easy going in the house but believes the world will be better when all squirrels are extinct. He is 22” at the shoulder and weighs 55lbs. His personality is quirky but cute. His hobbies are catching soccer balls, hiking and swimming. He loves quiet time in his crate when I’m at work and sleeps on my bed at night. I adopted Bingo at 14 months of age after he was rescued from an abusive situation. He was reserved and shut down but as his confidence began to build so did the friction between Bingo and my older alpha male. Most days it’s like living with Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. I love him and want him to have a life free of this constant macho competition. Bingo will be happy as an only dog or the only male dog. Bingo loves cuddling and bathing cats and wants to be the leader of an all cat pack. Congratulations to Bingo and his new family!!
		Chopper Chopper is a three year old blue merle male. He is a big boy at approximately 80 pounds. He is house broken, crate trained, neutered and up to date on all of his medicals. He has been exposed to cats and horses. He currently lives with another smaller dog and they get along fine. He does have a strong guardian instinct as is called for in the breed standard. He will bark at strangers but he is very affectionate and loyal with his family members. Chopper does not like small children and his family is expecting a new baby soon. He is fine with older, respectful kids over twelve. Congratulations to Chopper and his new family!!
		Sara Sue Sara Sue was found as a stray and has is being fostered through a local Humane Society. Sara goes to work with her foster mom at her store in Saugatuck, MI and she enjoys meeting the people that come into the store. She is also said to be good with cats. Sara was probably an outside dog before she was found as her coat is very sun bleached. Underneath she is a rich liver red merle. She will be beautiful when her new coat comes in. Sara is house broken, spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on her shots. She is a very laid back girl who doesn't demand much. She loves to be petted. She would do best as an only dog or with other dogs that don't want to play with her very much. She will tell other dogs when she has had enough and as long as they are respectful of her, they should be fine. We aren't sure of Sara's age other than she is an older female. Aussies can live into their teens and Sara still has lots of love left to give her new family. Congratulations to Sara Sue and her new family!!


		Tabby Tabby is a red tri female with classic markings, is now just a year old, spayed, friendly, good with kids and people and gets along with other dogs, cats and horses. Rode well in the car, does well on leash, was a dream to groom. Congratulations to Tabby and her new family!
		Bernie Bernie is a red tri male with wider tri markings, is also just a year old, neutered, a real snuggle bug in the house, not quite into playing yet, good with other dogs, cats, and horses, he's just a little more hesitant than his sister. Tolerated being groomed and bathed for hours, fell asleep while I was final combing him. Congratulations to Bernie and his new family!
		Alex Alex is a blue merle male Australian Shepherd in search of a home. He around 1 year of age, will be neutered soon and gets along well with other neutered males and spayed females. He is learning how to play with balls, loves to chew his rawhide and is housebroken. Congratulations to Alex and his new family!
		Tigger Tigger is a very active one year old red merle male. He weighs about 30 pounds and is up to date on all of his vet care. Please forgive his bad hair day, whoever had him previously shaved his head. He is getting along with other dogs at his foster home. He chases the cats but doesn't seem to want to hurt them. Congratulations to Tigger and his new family!!
		Dominic ARPH #6630 Dominic is a one year old neutered male. He's a big boy, 56 lbs, HW negative and up to date on his vaccinations! He's good with people, a little energetic on-leash (not leash trained), housebroken, and squats rather than lifting his leg. He is fine with the foster mom's cats so far and is very respectful of her horses. He loves his toys, and is learning about leash training. Dominic is a big happy puppy and will need some guidance to reach his full potential. While he's good with kids, he's probably "too much" for the little ones. Congratulations to Dominic and his new family!!
		Moosey ARPH #6817 Moosey is a very loving, good natured 19 month old red-bi neutered male. He is up to date on shots and heartworm negative. He was raised with kids and cats. Moosey should fill out to 55-60 lbs. He’s energetic and would like a good sized fenced in yard to run. He’s had some basic training and is very eager to learn more. Congratulations to Moosey and his new family!!
		Riley ARPH #6629 Riley is a 1 year old, happy dog, used to playing with a female golden retriever, knows basic commands, is housebroken, neutered and crate trained (although he prefers to be with you all the time). His favorite game is BALL and he loves tennis balls. He is seeking a new home with an active life style and he hopes for someone home at least part of the day. Congratulations to Riley and his new family!!
