How You Can Help Aussie Rescue

Even if you don't have the time to become a volunteer, there are still many ways in which you can help Aussie Rescue in Michigan.

Donations
We are always in need of supplies such as:

Dog Food
(gotta feed 'em! You might inquire as to what brand is being fed, or gift certificates are also a great idea
so the foster home can choose the brand they are currently feeding)

Shampoo, Towels and other Bathing Accessories
(let's face it, a lot of rescues come pretty dirty, let's clean these kids up!)

Brushes, Nail Clippers, and other Grooming Supplies
(if you're going to a new home, you've got to make a good impression!)

Crates
(at least 24" high - the airline kind *Vari-Kennel* are the most functional, but we won't be choosy!)

Leashes & Collars
(the adjustable nylon web collars with the plastic snappy closures are the most versatile,
most adult aussies run in the 16-20" size range but puppy collars may be necessary also)

Blankets, Towels, Rugs, Carpet Remnants
(a lot of these guys have never been in crates before, let's make 'em comfy)

Cleaning Supplies
(some of these dogs aren't housebroken when we get them, accidents happen!)

Office Supplies: Copy Paper, Stamps, Envelopes, etc.
(not everyone has the modern wonder of a computer, so sometimes we have to send stuff the old-fashioned way!)

Photocopying Services
(there's a lot of paperwork involved with rescue, we need copies of everything!)

Film & Developing
(gotta have pictures!)

Toys, Treats & Other Fun Stuff
(some rescues may be with us a while, we need to make 'em happy!)

Food Dishes & Buckets
(they can't chew up the stainless steel stuff!)

Veterinary Services
(gotta keep 'em healthy, and they've all got to be spayed or neutered too!)

Gift Certificates
(chain stores like Petsmart and Pet Supplies Plus are located near most everyone,
and that way the rescuer can get exactly what they need when they need it!)

Of course, monetary donations are also extremely welcome.
